We had a wonderful stay here. The place was beautiful, clean and comfortable. a perfect spot for our first holiday with our little girl. The lovely glass coffee table isn't the greatest thing for a little one, but we found ways of distracting her away from it. Would happily stay again, so well equipped and a little welcome pack was a treat on arrival! Everything you could possibly need, from books to biscuits. From cooking oil to doggy poo bags!

The house was just perfect for me and my family. The sleeping arrangements for us all were particularly good. The house is modern, clean and well equipped. Add to that the perfect location and this made this the perfect stay for us. I hope to return again at some point in the future.
Had a great stay at East Newk Cottage. Fantastic area for walking, and extremely handy for Filey/Bridlington and surrounding areas. Spent a lovely morning at Danes dyke. The cottage itself was fantastic everything we needed, and the host was extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again.
We all had a really lovely week. The cottage was well appointed, comfortable and suited us perfectly. Good walk with the dog from the bottom of Water Lane to Danes Dyke. Great food & hospitality at the Rose & Crown in Flamborough. Thank you we've enjoyed our time at East Newk.
Lovely place to stay to see coast & birds. Enjoyed Seabirds food. Jack our dog loved beaches. Great sighting of a barn Owl in the field opposite.

Stayed with friends in late June. Super place to stay. Modern, well equipped and ideally placed for all Yorkshire seaside, RSPB Bempton, inland Yorkshire Wolds and Moors. Seals at Flamborough were great and lots of them!
This has been a fabulous week. Good food, lodging, sights and the friendliest people. Everything is so close by. The best part was travelling with my cousin Lynda, lots of laughs, the perfect hostess.
Lovely week in the comfortable and well equipped cottage - a proper home from home. We found 'The Ship' to be very friendly and it became our local for the week. Great food at unbelievable prices.

Very well equipped house, ideal for 3 generations to stay in. The children loved exploring the rock pools and caves at Flamborough, seeing the wildlife at Danes Dyke and playing on the beach at Bridlington.
A beautiful spotless property with everything you need . A proper home from home . Spotlessly clean with modern comfortable furnishings. A great homely base for the wonderful walks around Flamborough . A nice welcome pack and a good information folder with all the details of local restaurants and cafes etc. We have already recommended this property to family and friends and we would book to stay here again in the future. The cottage was beautiful. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. It has everything you could need. The extras were a lovely touch - hand soap, tea, coffee, milk etc. the only issue we had was with the steps. we found them a bit slippy, quite worrying for anyone not very steady on their feet and my little dog couldn’t manage them at all so be prepared to carry your pooch up and down them. But it didn’t spoil our stay. We really enjoyed it.

Facilities - Absolutely lovely home, all requirements met. Would suggest s BBQ in the garden and a pouffe in the lounge.
Local Area - Lovely, ate at the Seabirds twice and was lovely. Enjoyed lots of lovely walks to the Lighthouse. Limited Menu at North Landing cafe but very nice jacket potato and toasties.
Drives - Bridlington, Scarborough & Filey only 1 hour drive away or less. Recommend the Promenade in Brid, has a good dog friendly beach at the end of it.
Lovely house, well equipped! For kids the splash park/slides at East Riding Leisure Centre were great! Book online in advance as you may not be able book for same day. Roller Disco Tuesday at Bridlington Spa good. For dry days RSPB Bempton, Sewerby Hall & beaches good. We enjoyed the Puffin Trail. Lack of good eating places and need to book. Seabirds (Flamborough) and Sizzler good. Real lack of good places in Bridlington, Pier 6 OK but shuts at 6pm.
Lovely cottage which had everything our little family (including 3 year old, 8 month old and dog!) could need. My grandad grew up in Flamborough and we loved visiting the area. The beach at Dane's Dyke is fantastic. Thank you for a fantastic stay, we will be back!

Third visit to area. Loved this cottage and location. Well equipped & comfortable sofas & beds. Great layout, stairs a bit scary & slippy.
Ate at Seabirds x 2, Rose & Crown x 1, Lighthouse Fish & Chip Shop x 1. Seabirds best for food in area but overall lacks good places to eat. Be prepared to queue at Lighthouse Chippy. Recommend White House Bakery, Wellington Road?, Bridlington. Coop in Flam is OK but limited stock.
Loved the fact we could walk to Danes Dyke beach. Preferred to walk up the hill to exit than across the fields. Can highly recommend Danes Dyke but it is steep. Check when tide is low. A must visit is Bempton Cliffs - after 6.30pm ish no charge. We went around 7pm, it's amazing.

House and facilities were excellent. Location made it easy to get to all the local attractions. There was a good selection of Pubs/Restaurants/local Shops within easy walking distance. We had an excellent holiday.

The cottage is lovely. Spotlessly clean. Just short of 10 minutes walk to the nearest pub. Flamborough is very nice for a quiet break near the sea. We all enjoyed our mid-week staycation.

The 5 of us - 4 adults and 1 active child - arrived on Friday afternoon and found East Newk Cottage very comfortable, with plenty of space and lovely views at the front.
We were all impressed by the quality of the furniture and kitchen equipment - the nespresso machine was not left idle -. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms excellent. It was quick and pleasant to walk to the shops.
We had a couple of lovely walks - one a bit muddy - on top of the cliff and on the beach. We watched the rugby in comfort, on the very good size TV and some of us even did a bit of work thanks to the reliable WiFi.
In short, we were sad to leave East Newk Holiday Cottage on Monday morning, and would recommend it to all.
